This job plans and coordinates the operational processes related to introducing and scaling digital medicine products across multiple distribution channels and geographic markets. Provides day-to-day direction to teams in support of the company’s strategic initiatives and departmental mission and goals. Implements and evaluates tactical initiatives associated with business activities, including but not limited to, operations, policy and regulatory compliance, financial sustainability, human resource planning, team education, patient acquisition and volume growth drivers.

Education
Required – Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business administration or related field.
Preferred – Master’s degree in healthcare, business administration or related field.
Work Experience
Required – 7 years of leadership experience.
Preferred – 10 years of leadership experience in a complex healthcare environment, patient care delivery system or digital health industry.
Experience in Lean/Process Improvement.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.

Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals.

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, teambuilding and conflict resolution skills, and ability to demonstrate good judgment in handling difficult situations, lead direct and cross functional teams through influence, and relate to executive management, professionals, as well as business and community leaders.

Job Duties
Technical Leadership:
-
Design and develop the frameworks and guardrails for the AI/ML Solutions and products.
-
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform AI strategy development and ensure competitiveness.

Direct the exploration and implementation of new AI technologies and methodologies, including Generative AI.
-
Lead the design and development of Ochsner’s AI platforms and solutions, homegrown and/or vendor delivered.
Team Building and Leadership:
-
Establish and scale a high-performing AI team with direct or through matrixed oversight.

Provide technical leadership, setting clear deliverables and supporting team to achieve results.

Responsible for review and approval of developed solutions.
-
Serve as the lead technical point of contact across multiple teams, ensuring cohesive progress on AI projects.
Solution Development and Implementation:
-
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain a framework and a platform to leverage and standardize the utilization of AI and Machine learning across the company.

Design and develop advanced machine learning models and responsible AI solutions to support real-time and very low latency applications.

Align AI strategy and Data strategy closely with a focus on data quality, data architecture, and data governance to enable rapid reuse of data assets fueling AI strategy.

Continuously monitor and optimize AI models and algorithms to ensure they deliver accurate, reliable results.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
