Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Sleep Medicine Physician

It operates 47 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Gulf South.
Position Highlights:
Our sleep department is an outpatient practice comprised of 4 board certified Sleep physicians (1 neurology and 3 pulmonology), 1 nurse practitioner and 1 physician assistant. We have a close working relationship with behavioral health to provide CBTi services, with several ENT physicians in our organization to implant hypoglossal nerve stimulators, and with several experienced local dentists to supply oral appliances. Sleep medicine services are in high demand in our organization, and our streamlined referral network includes primary care, ENT, allergy, psychiatry, and cardiology. We are closely integrated with in-house DME to perform CPAP setups, downloads, and mask fittings.
Our Sleep Labs are AASM accredited with 12-beds at three locations with a fully integrated home sleep testing program offering sleep diagnostic services for both pediatrics and adults. There is easy access to the patient medical record and sleep study software through our secure web-portal. Our sleep group conducts a monthly journal club and case discussion conference. There are informal opportunities to teach neurology, internal medicine, and psychiatry residents on their outpatient sleep medicine rotations. There are also opportunities for teaching as a clinical assistant professor with Tulane and LSU, research support, and Physician Leadership development.
