This job leads the human resources business partner team. Ensures effective execution of human resources strategy through a direct staff of field-based human resources business partners for both operations and corporate leaders. Serves as a member of the human resources leadership team reporting directly to the EVP, Chief People and Culture Officer.

Education

  • Required – Bachelor’s degree.
  • Preferred – Master’s degree.

Work Experience

  • Required – 15 years of progressively responsible human resources experience.
  • Broad based human resources experience as well as deep experience in a distributed operation environment.
  • Preferred – Human resources experience in healthcare.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Working knowledge of human resources management, business, or behavioral sciences.

  • Working knowledge of corporate human resources and benefits administration.

  • Ability to demonstrate a professional attitude and relate to executive management, professionals, and business and community leaders.

  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to exhibit self-direction, good judgment in handling difficult situations, and good organizational, time management, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Ability to translate business needs into effective strategies and actions.

  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.

  • Understanding of the business strategies, objectives, and financial performance of the organization.

Job Duties

  • Partners with business and human resources leaders to assess current talent and develop long term talent strategies in succession planning, highly effective individual development plans, and training programs.

  • Leads organizational diagnostics and designs organization structure to optimize business strategies.

  • Drives results and retains key contributors.

  • Works closely with the corporate compensation/benefit group to design and implement key compensation programs to drive results.

  • Identifies learning and development needs, designs initiatives specific to the business unit, and consults with corporate human resources in the development of programs.

  • Works closely with corporate human resources to effectively develop and implement company-wide programs.

  • Creates a detailed and thorough plan to understand and reduce turnover and improve retention across the system.

  • Leads team of human resources business partners and serves as the human resources business partner to the company and executive leadership.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
