This job ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. Helps identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems, participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure, and ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values.

The PCI Analyst is responsible for ensuring the organization’s compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). This role involves assessing the organization’s payment systems and processes to identify compliance gaps, conducting regular audits, and working closely with IT and security teams to implement necessary controls. The PCI Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining the security of cardholder data and ensuring that the organization meets all PCI-DSS requirements.

Education 

Required – High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred – Additional degrees,  business training experience and/or certifications may be combined to meet minimum qualifications.

Work Experience

Required – 8 years IT experience. Experience working under stressful situations.
Experience working with frequent interruptions and frequent changes in priority.
 

Job Duties

  • Conduct PCI-DSS compliance assessments and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with IT and security teams to implement and maintain PCI-DSS controls.
  • Perform regular audits of payment systems, applications, and processes to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Monitor and analyze security incidents related to payment card data, ensuring appropriate responses and remediation.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation for PCI-DSS audits, including Self-Assessment Questionnaires (SAQs) and Reports on Compliance (ROCs).
  • Provide training and awareness programs on PCI-DSS requirements to relevant staff.
  • Stay current on PCI-DSS updates, industry trends, and emerging threats to payment card data.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure their compliance with PCI-DSS requirements.

Very Heavy Work – Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Heavy Work.  (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. NOTE: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.

                

Mechanical lifting devices (e.g., carts, dollies, etc.) or team lifts should be utilized.
Must be able to stoop, bend, reach and grab with arms and hands, manual dexterity.
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities.
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (e.g. more than 8 hours a day, weekend).

Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid or tissue and as part of their employment, incumbents are not called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.

The incumbent has no occupational risk for exposure for communicable diseases
