Ochsner Health in New Orleans is currently searching for an Abdominal Transplant Surgeon, with fellowship training or practice experience in transplant surgery. The starting salary will be commensurate based upon training and experience.

The Ochsner Transplant Institute has excellent programs, many active research projects, one of the largest transplant programs in the country. The Ochsner transplant program has an excellent regional referral base.

The successful applicant will be joining a cohesive and experienced team of 7 surgeons who are supported by Nephrology, Hepatology and fellows, Surgical fellows and Advanced Practice Providers.

Ochsner has been one of the top programs in the Nation for transplants. Ochsner remains one of the nation’s most active transplant programs conducting over 300 transplant a year. Our center has an established record in Donation after cardiac death (DCD) transplants and has an active living donor program in adults and children.
