This job supports, develops, and maintains Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions in a data warehouse environment that includes ancillary data stores. Develops extracts, dashboards, reports, and data solutions, and uses tools like Informatica. Creates workflows, sessions, and mappings in accordance with standards and best practices. Analyzes data, validates data quality, gathers requirements, conducts data modeling and data warehouse design and contributes to the creation of supporting documentation.

Education
Required – High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred – Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
Work Experience
Required – 4 years of experience with development, data extraction, ETL using an Enterprise tool, SQL programming language, data analysis, data profiling or related,
OR
1 year of experience with SQL programming language, data analysis and data profiling, 2 years of experience with data extraction or ETL using an Enterprise tool, and 1 year of experience in development with bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Preferred – 1 year of experience with a formal development methodology like Scrum Agile developing on a Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) database working with a project or task tracking tool and ETL tool like Informatica PowerCenter 9.x,10.x, DataStage, or SQL server Integration Services (SSIS).
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications, and willingness to learn new technologies.

Proficient in PL/SQL database/programming languages for creating and maintaining Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Manipulation Language (DML) code.

Strong knowledge of ETL and ETL tools and ability to create, maintain and execute test plans for ETL streams.

Analytical, design, and development skills and ability to modify or expand information systems.

Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with the team, internal business and technology departments as well as external vendors.

Problem solving skills and ability to be self-motivated, work independently, and pay close attention to detail, accuracy of facts and documentation.

Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to follow through on tasks in a timely manner and effectively manage multiple priorities.
Job Duties

Contributes to the development of data architecture and data modeling, including developing extracts, dashboards, reports, and data solutions, and uses tools like Informatica.

Creates workflows and sessions and develops ETL mapping solutions within the data warehouse environment following current processes.

Maintains and develops documentation to identify and define processes, monitors production systems for issues and escalates or resolves issues.

Analyzes data, validates data quality, gathers requirements, conducts data modeling and data warehouse design; and contributes to the creation of supporting documentation in accordance with best practices.

Supports and monitors ETL systems and data integration server.

Manages and completes projects as needed.

Performs other related duties as required.
