Under the direction of the Associate Medical Director (AMD), the Site Lead serves in a local strategic leadership role. The Site Lead will collaborate with the local AMD and Clinic Directors, Managers and/or Supervisors to lead Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers within their corresponding clinics to deliver quality care in a patient focused environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support efforts locally for the use of clinical data to proactively monitor, revise and develop best practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes and clinician efficiency.
  • Promote the standardization of clinical processes, adoption of effective solutions, and advance innovative patient care under the direction of the AMD.
  • Identify and pursue the use/advancement of digital care technologies in ways that add value to our organization.
  • Partner with local Directors of Operations and AMD to drive patient experience, access to care, and other key performance directive as well as to develop strategic initiatives supporting these clinical and business objectives.
  • Works with hospital/clinic leadership to foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and collaboration across specialties.
  • Participates in ongoing personal leadership development opportunities.
  • Demonstrates engagement in growing their ability to effectively make a case for behavior change with physicians to reinforce group practice principles for timely chart closure, review and responding to results, timely addressing refills, etc.
  • Demonstrates an ability to coach others on self-management & constructive problem solving.
  • Maintains a clear understanding and commitment to success as defined by a collective performance.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Board certified or eligible for certification in physician’s primary specialty
  • Licensed Practicing Provider MD/DO
  • Credentialed and willing to maintain clinical practice

Preferred:

Experience using and supporting Epic’s Electronic Medical Record System
