This job creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements in the Program. This job identifies resources needed and manages day-to-day operational aspects of the Programs and updates the team on a regular basis. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team and coordinates delivery of plan of care.Education
Required - Registered Nurse Diploma
Preferred - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Work Experience
Required - 5 years nursing experience.
1 year supervisory experience
Certifications
Required - Current RN License in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Preferred - Certification in clinical specialty area
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information. Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
Strong conflict resolution skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and interpretive skills
Advanced judgment and decision making skills
Strong time management skills
Ability to work self-directed including and to work independently and manage multiple priorities and competing demands
Job Duties
Manages implementation timelines, ongoing clinical and technical support, and development of site-specific education and improvement strategies.
Conducts system and process reviews on targeted operational and service functions to validate or recommend implementation opportunities to improve productivity, customer service and/or quality of operations.
Serves as a liaison to regulatory agencies and community partners and participates in meetings, conferences, in-services, as required.
Serves as a team lead.
Chairs committees as assigned.
Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
Other related duties as required.

Physical and Environmental Demands
The physical essential functions of this job include (but are not limited to) the following: Frequently exerting 10 to 20 pounds of force to move objects; occasionally exerting up to 100 pounds of force. Must be capable moving and lifting boxes, equipment, and fixtures weighing up to 100 lbs.
Must be able to move throughout the department, the hospital, and between off-campus sites.

The incumbent works in a patient care area; works in an area where patients enter; works directly with patients; and/or works with specimens that could contain diseases. There may be an occupational risk for exposure to all communicable diseases.
Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
