This job assumes responsibility for leading and advancing systemwide performance development strategies by partnering with Human Resources partners, senior leaders, and other key stakeholders across the organization. The Senior Performance Consultant serves as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert in performance programs and tools such as the Annual Review, Talent Review, and Succession Planning. This role provides high-level consultative support, champions best practices, and drives enterprise-wide initiatives to ensure optimization of systems and processes to align with organizational goals and priorities.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education
- Required - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
- Preferred - Master’s degree in a related discipline
Work Experience
- Required - 5-7 years of experience in performance management, talent development, or HR consulting, including experience leading enterprise-level initiatives.
- Preferred - Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms; experience influencing senior leaders in a complex, multi-site organization. Experience in healthcare.
Certifications
- Preferred - SHRM-CP, PHR/SPHR, or other relevant HR certifications, 360 – degree feedback and/or coaching certification.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Advanced analytical and data interpretation skills to identify trends and influence strategic decisions
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level presentations and facilitation
- Proven ability to lead large-scale projects and change management initiatives
- Expertise in HRIS platforms, especially Workday, with ability to optimize system functionality
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging training and enablement programs for leaders and HR partners, ensuring adoption of performance and talent practices.
- Strong consultative and influencing skills with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and timeliness
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate organizational goals into actionable performance strategies.
Job Duties
- Lead enterprise-wide, cross-functional initiatives focused on performance management, talent review, and succession planning to advance strategic organizational priorities.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to HR partners and senior leaders, offering expert guidance on performance management strategies and processes.
- Analyze organizational performance and talent data to generate actionable insights, influence leadership decisions, and drive implementation of effective solutions.
- Develop and present executive-ready recommendations and progress updates to senior stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate performance insights into leadership development and workforce planning initiatives.
- Design and deliver advanced training and enablement programs that equip leaders and HR partners to execute performance strategies effectively.
- Oversee the optimization of systems and tools to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Provides guidance and mentorship to junior team members and other HR team members
- Performs other duties as assigned
