Education
- Required - Master's in business administration (MBA), health administration (MHA), or other relevant advanced degree.
Work Experience
- Required - 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare strategy, consulting, analytics, industry intelligence, or a related field. Prior experience in data analysis, healthcare analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role required. Demonstrated experience conducting complex analyses and translating findings into strategic recommendations for leadership decision-making.
- Preferred - Experience supporting service line strategy strongly preferred. Experience within a large healthcare system, health plan, consulting firm, or healthcare-related organization strongly preferred.

- Analytical rigor, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and data storytelling abilities, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong relationship management, influence, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted advisory relationships and drive alignment across a complex organization.
- Strong business acumen and an understanding of healthcare industry dynamics.
- Executive presence and confidence when interacting with senior leadership.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and providing structure to complex problems.
- Strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through. Highly proactive, self-directed, and intellectually curious, with a commitment to continuous learning.
Job Duties
- Conducts and monitors internal and external research on healthcare trends, regional dynamics, policy changes, competitive activity, and emerging technologies; assesses implications and proactively communicates opportunities and risks.
- Analyzes complex quantitative and qualitative data to uncover insights that drive enterprise-wide decision-making.
- Translates ambiguous external environment challenges into structured opportunities with clear hypotheses and approaches.
- Supports the development of business cases, financial models, and other assessments using external data to evaluate strategic initiatives and investments.
- Serves as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders by providing data-driven insights, strategic recommendations, and regional intelligence that inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Serves on strategic project teams as the growth and industry insights expert across a range of enterprise strategic priorities.
- Engages with region, service line, strategy, and operational stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and identify opportunities where industry intelligence and strategic insights can support decision-making.
- Provides informal coaching and project guidance to analysts as appropriate, promoting a high-performing and inclusive team culture.
- Presents findings, recommendations, and roadmaps in a clear and compelling manner.

Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid or tissue and as part of their employment, incumbents are not called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid. The incumbent has no occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases .
Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
