This job assumes responsibility for supporting systemwide performance development initiatives by partnering with Human Resources partners, Operational Leaders, and other stakeholders across the organization. The Performance Consultant serves as a subject matter expert in Performance programs and tools such as the Annual Review, Talent Review, and Succession Planning. This role also provides consultative support, training, and system optimization to advance performance development strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Education

  • Required - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
  • Preferred - Master’s degree in a related discipline


Work Experience

  • Required - 3–5 years of experience in performance management, talent development, or HR consulting
  • Preferred - Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms; experience supporting performance programs in a complex, multi-site organization. Experience in healthcare.


Certifications

  • Preferred - SHRM-CP, PHR/SPHR, or other relevant HR certifications


Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to assess performance trends and recommend improvements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present and facilitate training sessions
  • Advanced project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives independently
  • Technical proficiency in HRIS platforms, especially Workday
  • Ability to consult effectively with HR partners, leaders, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and timeliness
  • Ability to develop and deliver training content for varied audiences
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment


Job Duties

  • Acts as a subject matter expert in performance development, talent review, and succession planning
  • Leads performance-related projects and programs, including training, communication, and system support
  • Provides consultative support to HR partners, leaders, and other stakeholders across the organization
  • Analyzes data and feedback to recommend improvements to performance processes and tools
  • Maintains and optimizes Workday templates and tools related to performance and feedback
  • Develops and delivers training (live and on-demand) for leaders and employees
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Supports HR Connect case resolution and maintains knowledge articles
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
