Senior Digital Content Specialist – New Orleans

Education
Required – Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, writing, digital media or related field.
Work Experience
Required – 5 years of experience in web management and content creation.
Preferred – 5 years of experience in content creation for web, content management systems (CMS), social media and Google Analytics.
Preferred experience in digital and social media content development, website content creation, writing and editing, website content management systems, posting on social media channels and monitoring social media platforms.
Looking for experience with social media community management and engagement with professional audiences, content optimization experience, publishing natively on social platforms, scheduling with link tracking and using Facebook Business Manager.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience / Skills / Competencies
·Strong professional writing and editing skills and knowledge of Associated Press (AP) style.
·Comfortable ghost writing for executive leaders.
·High level of comfort working directly with executive leaders and senior physicians.
·Experience developing strategies tailored to professional audiences on LinkedIn and Twitter and increasing engagement among employee advocates.
·Knowledge of LinkedIn ads.
·Comfortable with major social channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and their analytics capabilities.
·Knowledge of scheduling, social monitoring platforms and analytics software (such as Hootsuite, Sprout, Sprinklr, Trackmaven, Crimson, Hexagon, etc.)
·Experience with social media community management and engaging with audiences on social media.
·Must be proficient with Windows-style applications
·High proficiency with personal computers and corresponding software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Adobe Illustrator), content management systems, social media channels, video editing and Google Analytics.
·Advanced project management and organizational skills.
·Analytical skills and logical thought processes in order to formulate solutions to problems.
Essential Position Duties
1. Drives online content strategy in areas of focus to increase digital engagement and online performance across multiple channels and provide measurable marketing return on investment
2. Manages Ochsner’s Thought Leader program, working directly with our executives and senior physicians who can represent our brand as leaders in the healthcare space on social media channels like Twitter and LinkedIn.
3. Ghost writes social content for Ochsner executives
4. Implements strategies tailored to professional audiences on LinkedIn and Twitter to increase engagement among employee advocates
5. Provide support for social media content, with a focus on using storytelling to show the breadth and depth of health services available.
6. Implement and post engaging content to drive business conversions for service lines in the region through posts on all social media channels, monitor and review social media postings and social media community management.
7. Drafts, edits and proofreads online marketing material, copy, video and creative assets for website, social media, online advertising, newsletters and blog.
8. Collaborates with brand, design and creative media teams and/or manages external vendor partners to produce online content within brand guidelines.
9. Analyzes data and user behavior and tracks outcomes to determine marketing impact and improve online user experience to deliver ROI and report out insights to leadership and internal stakeholders.
10. Manages special web projects and initiatives to improve user experience, speed and technology of web platforms.
