Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Pain Management Physician (Anesthesiology or PM&R fellowship trained) to join our expanding Interventional Pain Medicine program in the Lafayette Region. Ochsner Lafayette General serves as a regional hub for advanced care and is home to multiple Centers of Excellence, including:

Our Interventional Pain Management Department is growing rapidly, supported by a strong internal referral network and collaboration with multiple specialties across the Ochsner system.
Position Highlights

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Perform a full spectrum of interventional pain procedures.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans across outpatient and perioperative settings.
- Prescribe medications and treatment regimens appropriately.
- Document all patient encounters in Epic in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
- Request additional evaluations, testing, or referrals as needed.
- Ensure accurate coding and compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and licensing standards.
- Maintain professionalism and contribute positively to a team-oriented environment.
