Ochsner MD Anderson is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Classical Hematologist.

Position Highlights:

  • Providing teaching opportunities

  • Unique practice design with virtual consult coverage supporting inpatient and outpatient care, an innovative eConsult platform (allows for some weeks of flexibility working from home)

  • Dedicated Classical Hematology Team without malignant hematology or oncology care responsibilities
  • ACGME 2 year Classical Hematology fellowship in addition to 3 year combined fellowship (total 16 fellows)

  • Pathology support, apheresis and blood bank team, continuously growing in house lab capability (includes factor levels, inhibitor studies) pursuing site accreditation for gene therapies
